Long Time No See

Hello all I'm doing a bit of catch up work.  I'm posting some things a bit late but I think you guys will still like them.  I've got two new videos up on my You Tube so far and I want to share them with you.  One is an Altered Lamp Shade and the other is about my new scrap room that is in the process of being built.  Very exciting things going on.

Update

I feel like this is my semi offical first post.  I've been just trying to get stuff on my blog from the past.  So here are two videos something old and something new.  I'm especially pround of my Armoire.  I love 3d paper art.  I can't think of anything else to say so I'm just going to post my videos and get back to you all when I get my new camera.  I think I have settled on one finally.  My video clarity has been horrible so far and I'm trying to hang with the heavy hitters so I better get a better video.

Displayed Cards

I needed some cards displaying what certain things are and what machines can do.
This is just a neat step ladder card.
This card shows heat embossing and flocking.
This card shows heat embossing dry embossing stickles and what alcohol markers can do.

 Cricut simple wild card.
 Cricut paper doll dress up.

Thank You Display Card

I love this card.  I love to make these girls sassy to the fullest.  This card showcases heat and dry embossing.  Also it shows a little pro marker coloring.

Make a Wish Display Card

This card is another display showcasing what heat embossing is and also flocking.  The fairy's skirt is flocked. I love this stamp .

Happy Birthday Display Card

This is a step ladder card with two presents in the steps.  My paper supply was limited but in hindsight I wish I had one more color to break up some of the argyle print.  The customers still seemed to like it.

California Dreamin'

12x12 Layouts are not my gift however I needed a quick display and this is what I came up with.  It's funny because when I started this I had every intention of it being on it's side but it just looked better this way.  It's rare that I do 12x12's and of course I never know where I'm going I just create.  Oddly enough I do like this one.

Ball Decor

This was another quick display. (Always look for my hindsight directions they will tell you what I should have done)

I get a lot of questions from people who would like to make centerpieces for cheap.  Sometimes they want to do there own wedding or prom or party decorations.  I love this because it is so versatile and easy to do and also upgrade and downgrade.  Also the best part is that it is cheap.  On the downside it is tedious (which I love).

Semi Recipes
(paint the ball first)
I used a very cheap floral punch with patterned paper and a few rhinestones and a Styrofoam ball and glue gun.
This is what I had in mind when I did this.  If you wanted a semi quick center piece this is a possibility.  Take the Styrofoam ball cut it in half and embellish as I did then place it over an ivy bowl of the appropriate size.  You can fill the bowl with decorative candy, pebbles, sand or anything you like.  If you would like to make the center piece even more elegant plop the ivy bowl piece on a mirror and doctorate even further.

Another Option

Decorate the whole ball and then hang from the ceiling at various lengths.  This looks really cool with larger and smaller balls.

Remember this is just an overview feel free to ask questions and we can brainstorm together.

TIm Holtz Armoire

Here is another display ignore the glue on the back I had to mount it so it could be hung.  I used Tim Holtz paper and embellishments.  The top was done by using one of the on the edge dies.  This might be one of my greatest productions.  It was done all from scratch.  This is made of paper completely and has fully functioning drawers.  Please let me know if you have any questions.
